In the heart of the city, you will find Place Royale. This square is beautiful and surrounded by imposing neoclassic buildings from the nineteenth century.
One of them houses the Magritte Museum that contains around two hundred paintings from the surrealist painter. Worth a visit for sure.
Would you like to bring back a souvenir? Chocolate is your best bet and Pierre Marcolini is our absolute favorite. Brussels and chocolate go hand in hand.
For a drink at a place with a diverse crowd we like to go to ‘Café le Fontainas’. Here, you will find a mix of young and old, students and older folks, way-out characters, creative types and expats.
