"The Pillows team made our day fantastic. We would not have wanted any moment of the day in any other way, it was absolutely perfect. From the beginning when we arrived the day before to the absolute end on Sunday morning, the team took care of us and pampered us. We felt we were very special. The preliminary process was also very pleasant; we experienced every contact by e-mail and other preliminary discussion as good and hospitable. We were not short of anything and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Our guests were also very enthusiastic. Also, we are a real ‘hospitality couple’ and the expectations of our guests and ourselves are high. That the day was so good; is truly a gift. In any moment, we did not want to feel that our guests would lack anything and we ourselves had to step in to fulfil the expectation. However, we did not need to do so for a moment. Everything was taken off our hands and we went through the day relaxed. We find it impressive that the entire team all share the same thoughts on hospitality and go the extra mile. These skills are in all of you individually and cannot be taught. It is in your blood."

"On a summer’s day in June we got married at the Pillows Hotel in Deventer. After several conversations and many e-mails with the Event Specialist Manon, we had the full confidence in this wedding venue. Everything was arranged and discussed in detail. The ceremony took place outside, with views overlooking the Deventer’s sky line. After that, we had the reception on the terrace (with delicious bites!) followed by an excellent four-course dinner on the first floor. The entire hotel was exclusive to us, which gave us a nice feeling. Intimate, luxurious and atmospheric. We partied till late into the night and stayed overnight at the hotel with a select company. The staff, the food, the service and the ambience… It was amazing! By choosing this wedding venue, with all staff members having the passion for hospitality, our wedding has been wonderful!"

On April 28, 2023, we celebrated our dream wedding at Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel by the IJssel, and it exceeded all our expectations. The Pillows team listened to our wishes and ensured a personal and beautiful day. The ceremony took place indoors in a charming setting with a view of the city. The food was exquisite, featuring flavors perfect for the spring season, and our guests are still raving about the delicious dishes. After dinner, we retreated to the suite while evening guests were welcomed with cava. The evening reception was a success, with a fantastic atmosphere and excellent service. Our guests were well taken care of, and the fact that they could stay overnight was a bonus. The shared breakfast the next morning was the perfect conclusion. Our friends and family continue to speak highly of the wedding, and we can only say that it was fantastic.
